Celebrate Recovery--T.E.A.M.

We are getting ready to start CR in our church. I have the Leadership Guide, studied (& continue to) it. I've been attending other churches CR meetings but I still have a question I'd really like answered.

I've read about T.E.A.M. and understand what I've read--but it's vague. Can someone give me examples of what each of these leaders do in your CR? Especially the E. I've been told when i get the Advanced Leadership Guide that it explains what the T. (Training coach) does in detail. The guide only gives a very general description of what each leader/coach does and I'd like to also know HOW--by what methods or actions. Please someone let me in on what & how they do what they do. I have people interested in this but they want more details. I need more information.:praying

Hello MsBeliever and welcome to SR.
We have some members here who are involved with CR who may have answers to your question. Perhaps there's contact information in your CR literature where you can ask for more help about implementing the program.

Today I attended my first CR class at my church. It will be going on each Sunday morning there through this month.....I guess to see if any people are interested. I really enjoyed it. I learned alot and am looking forward to next Sunday. (Sorry I can't answer your question since I am brand new to this program.) I can already tell though that CR combined with my other recovery tools--I can't lose.

Celebrate Recovery

Well, we're on our way! Our first CR meeting is on Jan 15, 2010 at Victory Assembly of God in Richland Hills, TX 76118! our website is Home We're also currently taking 14 people thru the steps which are our CR Leadership. We now have one Training coach in place who is also the Asst. Ministry Leader. We'd still appreciate any input from other CR participants.

Wonderful! Glad to hear it's off and running and that you've got members actively working the program of CR.

I just went back to CR after 4 1/2 years away, I found AA to be more helpful with keeping me sober but I've grown in my recovery and I'm excited about taking the Steps in a Christ based program.

Please keep us posted on your progress and success, I'm very happy for you.
