Sorry it took so long,

On Friday, I tried to go to Celebrate Recovery but they wouldn't let me go. They said that kids couldn't come. So I couldn't go. But this Friday, I'll be able to go because he will be back.

I had a wonderful day yesterday! I took the kids to daycare and school. I scheduled off yesterday and I went back home and enjoyed the tranquility of my home. Mind you, I haven't been home by myself with no husband and no kids in probably about a year. It was soooooooooo fun! I took a bath without anyone knocking on the door. I gave myself a pedicure and manicure with no interruptions. I prayed and read books. I did laundry and cleaned the house. I had a spectacular, wonderful, peaceful, joyous, worry-free day. And guess what else, I only got 3 phone calls the WHOLE DAY! Whew! I was astonished!

Anyway, I hope everyone else had a great day as well!

Hey girl. I'm sorry that CR didn't work out for you this past Friday. I'm glad, however, that you are going to try again.

I don't think I would know what to do with myself if I had a day off with no husband, no kids and no place to be. I would hope that I would do exactly what you did because it does sound like a perfect day.

Glad you got some "me" time.

YN, I'm surprised to hear no child care at CR. Praying they will work on that.

It was wonderful. It was like a mini-vacation! And the killing part was it was a WHOLE DAY not just a few hours... I kept looking at my clock and thinking, wow I actually have 5 more hours of this!!! Hahaha!

You should try it... It was long overdue. And I'm not one of those mothers that like to leave my kids and go off and do things by myself. I actually loooove doing things with my kids and hubby. But everytime I rub my skin and feel how soft it is from the sugar scrub I gave myself yesterday, I'll remember that I need to do this more often!
