Wow CAPT,
seems like a high %. I wonder who the demographic of the poll was, certainly not random americans?
Although a third of me is Holy Spirit

seems kind of egotistical of me to think He will come in my lifetime.
If my understanding of His return is correct, I pray I'm towards the end of a long, healthy and full life

Based on the signs, I'd say it's getting closer...but how close? Doesn't the temple in Jerusalum need to be rebuilt after the antichrist establishes peace in the middle east? I think right now, the site where the temple was has a muslim mosque on it. I can only see a change if they go to war.

When I read "A NEW WORLD ORDER?" on CNN last night while watching Obama in London, I thought Jesus has to be coming real soon.

I believe Jesus comes at the end of the "seals" mentioned in Revelations.

No one knows (Mark 13:32)....not even the Son. It's interesting to speculate, I've done study on escatology at the seminary level under some pretty bright folks.....my determination is that I now know just about nothing on the timing of His return.

Interesting subject, but can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

All I have to say is..."come Lord Jesus!"

I was raised in a religion that believed He was coming way back in the 70's, so I try not to guess as to when it will be. However, the signs DO seem to show it will be soon.

I heard a minister kinda jokingly say "If God doesn't step in soon, He'll have to apologize to Sodom & Gammorah" ....sorry if that affends anyone, but the world is just getting SO bad in ALL respects. Crime is really high, even in small previously quiet towns. The economy thing. The weather, earthquakes, floods, etc. Everything is just changing at a very alarming rate.

I just hope I'm ready when it does happen!!

Saw last night where they say the polar ice caps will be gone in 30 years. the polar ice caps deflect the sun's rays & keep us from being french fries. Could THIS be the book of Revelations gloomy scenario concerning the blood-red Sun & all the other unpleasent side effects? Just wondering. Didn't mean to be so cheerful.........

100 %.. but I faltered and had to think on two. The one day at a time living tripped me up,

and the Lord removing His Spirit from the earth at the end. The first..I get from my recovery thinking.

Okay, live one day at a time yet be watchful. I can "live" with that.

The other.."rapture" theology..I get tripped up..they use a verse about "that which

letteth is taken away"..to mean when Christians are raptured..then the "man of sin"

is revealed and the Tribulation begins. The 3 trib views..I don't argue any points.

I just want to be ready...

That verse on the study was interesting..the one that tripped me up.
