Back After 30 In The Desert

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, I am sooooooooo very much excited to be back amongst the living and you all. For those of you who didnt know and those who do remember..... back in the beginnning of Sept. I was on the verge of suicide and ready to call it a day. Then the Lord had me hold on just a little while longer. I left and went to treatment out in California to a place called Axis. This was the most wonderful and beautiful experience of my life. I learned that the drugs werent really the problem only a temporary solution. I got to the root issues of things, FULLY restored my relationship with the Lord, and learned how to live sober daily. I am now back in Kansas City and continuing my journey. I am going to a mix of meetings; CA, NA, AA, AND FOOTPRINTS SPIRITUAL 12 STEP, and a men's fellowship with my brothers at my church. ALSO YESTERDAY I RECEIVED MY 30 DAY CHIPS FROM AA AND CA. I am so much in love and living for the Lord these days. Yesterday I am loving life and letting my Lord Jesus be in control. Life is so wonderful with Him in the forefront. I so much want to thank you all for the prayers before I left. Thank you Gertie for delivering my message. Thank you all for the prayers. :praying You all deserve the big group hug :ghug. I will continue to serve HIM till the day he brings me home. I have seen so many miracles in my life in only this one short week of being home. I'm even looking forward to going back to California to pick up my 6 month and 1 year chip. I have a group of friends there now and we keep in touch daily. I just want to encourage everyone to remain steadfast in the Lord and depend soley on Him, doing His will and not ours. HE DOES CHANGE LIVES IF WE LET HIM. LOVE TO YOU ALL. Darryl, aka Want2Live4Him

Many, many thanks to all of you for the blessings. I just returned from a CA meeting. Had a great day today. Went to a funeral for one of my brothers in Christs' brother.....what a beautiful blessing.l.... He accepted the Lord on Wednesday and went to meet Him on Saturday. You never know when God will call us home. Let's always love Him first, put Him first and look forward to that glorious day when we meet Him face to face. My prayer for everyone and your families.
