A Mothers Request

Hi is been a long time since I last posted I been very busy
But the prayer request is not for me is for my son Adam
we just found out he star it experiencing with Pot, and Cigarettes
he is only 16 yrs, old soon he will be 17 on Dec.
Please all I ask is that when you go into prayer take my son into your

It's nice to see you back, I'm sorry to hear your son is experimenting.
Don't forget there are lots of people in the same situation over in Friends & Family of Substance Abusers who can share some experience, strength & hope.

I am so sorry this is happening. My prayer is that the LORD would convict his heart, and that he would want to change because it is wrong, not because he wants to please you. I pray he would repent and be totally sold out 100% to the Lord.

Dear Butterfly 7, I want to add my prayers to those for your son.
You know if he is still a minor you can do something about this. My son was 21 and living out of our home when he became addicted to coke. He is now 42 & because of my parents continued enabling he is sitting in jail right now. If my son would have been underage I would have insisted he go into treatment. Without treatment most only get worse and the parents I see that come here that have children that have gotten clean, were the hard ones.
Of course I will pray that he sees the Light on his own, it is always better when the desire to get well comes from the addict but the longer I come here the more I believe if you can force them it is worth a try.
That is just my humble opinion,

Thanx 10storm,People would think I got it from the Bible
but actually I didn't I was a fan of the soap opera All My Children
and my favorite actor was Adam Chandler there were Twins
the good and the Bad well my favorite was the Bad one lol

and that's how I ende up putting my son that name Adam
