Are you struggling?

Are you struggling to hear from God? Keep talking to him. Don't stop.

Are you wondering if he is still there listening to you? Yes he is. He has always been there. He never left your side. Even when you strayed and fell into sin, God was still there. Let him love you.
Are you angry at God? Talk to God. God cares. No matter what you are feeling at the moment, tell God.

"Therefore I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul."
-- Job 7:11

THOUGHT:
We sometimes think of God as too fragile, too distant, or too brooding to speak with him honestly about our dilemmas. Job wasn't so shy. He is the great reminder that God prefers us to maintain
our relationship with him, even if it is stormy. No matter where you are in your struggles, be honest with God -- not disrespectfully, but sincerely. Let him minister to your truest hurts, frustrations, and fears, not just the simple and sanitized ones.

PRAYER:
Abba Father, thank you for listening to my words and my heart. Thank you for providing the Holy Spirit and my Savior Jesus as intercessors for me before your throne. Thank you for wanting me in
your presence even when my heart is full of conflict and pain. Thank you for loving me through my brokenness and strife. Most of all, thank you for your promise of bringing me home to you to share in your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you Jesus for hearing the cries of our hearts and the pains that no one knows.

:praying

Thank you so much for sharing this. There have been some times in my life lately when I don't feel like I'm hearing from Him. These moments have required that I accept in faith that God is still in charge; and I need to do my best to line up with Him, instead of attempting to get Him to line up with my idea of things.

The funny thing to me is that I'm well aware that He already knows what is in my heart and mind without my prayer or complaint- yet still desires to hear from me.

This requires that I come into His presence with a measure of humility and hopefully minus the griping and resentments that often arise when things in my life don't go as I hoped for.

I'm so glad that no matter what occurs, God's love endures.

Thank you for your thoughts and words butterfly!

Nice touch with the "abba"!

When I stop thanking and talking to our Lord and God that is when my addict self is trying to get out. When I get frustrated from frail attempts on creating my ideal outcome. That is when, (like right now!) I have to stop to say "Lord, thank You for my gifts today and I surrender to Your will and live for Your purpose"

Keeping the faith by living in His Word

For me, like Standfast...the shortcut out of the poor me's and the pit

of depression is to put on the garment of praise. I have so much to

thank Him for...

Deliverance from my addictions, saving me from killing myself, restoring

relationships with Him, myself, my family, old AA friends.....providing an

income, my health, and sanity. On and on and on.

Blessings all mine with ten thousand beside.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
