Housecleaning

My partner, Sandra, committed suicide on February 4, 2008. I got depressed and reached out to my pastor who left yesterday and does not want to keep in touch. I had a sponsor from AA and she said today that my problems were distressing her and she wanted out of our relationship. On Monday I had to end my therapy because of money issues. My son, Karl, lost his job and is being evicted. He is also on trial for a crime he did not commit. It's a long story. So I am turning to this board and to God. He is doing some housecleaning in my life and I am going to try to remain optimistic. I am also going to seek out a grief support group. AA is not enough for me right now. I am looking forward to meeting people on this board.

I don't really know what to say. I lost two friends to suicide a few years ago. I am lifting up prayers for you and your family. For God to draw you closer to Him than you have ever been.

Protect the Baby

My son Karl has fallen on hard times. I will spare you the details. We were talking on the phone the other day and the conversation turned to God. He said to me, "No matter what mom I have to protect the baby. I will take four bullets in the back to protect the baby." I said, "What do you mean? Who is the baby?" He replied, "The baby is my faith." I was quiet and then said, "Goodnight."

That night I had "another" dream about babies. I have been having these dreams for years and years. In the dreams the babies are always in trouble. They are starving, emaciated, hungry, injured, bleeding, crying and in danger. I am trying desperately to save them. I always blame myself for their plight. I have always wondered if these babies represent me or my children. Now I wonder if the babies represent my faith. Who knows . . .

Birth out, they are baby's in the lord

and your job, and mines, is to pray for them, watch over them,
ask your self why you landed at this site your experience, of endurance, and suffering, will guide others, is all up to you
to put your self in the hands of the potter, so he could bring you

Psalm 139: 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

and the Lord says...

Proverbs 8:17
“I love all who love me.Those who search will surely find me.

Let the Lord be your comfort in this time of sorrow and grief. You will not find a better comfort in all the world.

Butterfly,

I'm sorry for your loss, hang in there, your positive attitude is inspirational. My little brother committed suicide, I came a trigger pull away, I know now that God had bigger things planned for me. God Bless You.
