Does this work?

Hi Guys....

I am Sheila and am almost 90 days clean, however I am big time fixing on food and majorily overeating. I would really like to quit this compulsion. My weight has climbed to an all time high. I feel ugly and I awaken in the night bummed about my weight and my overeating.

Do you guys do diets or OA or what?

thanks, sheila

OA/recovery

I am clean and sober 22 years. After a few years of recovery, I needed to deal with being over weight (eating my feelings instead of dealing with them in another way) - and I did it through 18 months in OA. But I needed to focus on my alcohol and drug problem first.

Good luck.

I have just recently started working the steps & attending Celebrate Recovery for my overeating. I have been off drugs for 7 yrs & alcohol & nicotine for 6 yrs. My weight as well is at an all time high & I am ready to deal with the underlying issues instead of trading one addiction for another.
