I go to Lakewood church here in Houston, and I usually try to sit as far front as I can (I'm not a teenager any more and I need to be able to see clearly or I may not hear correctly...lol...or my concentration may wander....lolol) I usually sit with some friends in the fifth, sixth, or seventh row (depending on how many rows they rope off for first-time visitors). Well, since I'm usually sitting directly behind a visitor, I usually introduce myself, and we have a nice little conversation before the service starts ..... BUT.....today was very strange.....the conversation went something like this....." Extending my hand for a shake I said, "Good morning, my name is Noelle," to which the gentleman replied, "Good morning, my name is Noelle," to which I said, "No, I'm Noelle," to which he said, "No, I'm Noelle." After a little of this back and forth, we just sort of laughed and realized we were both Noelle, except, of course, he spelled his just Noel. lolol But here's the kicker.....he was visiting his son, who goes to school here in Houston, and his son's name is ..... you guessed it.....Noel.....lol ....... kinda like a Twilight Zone eh....? I also learned that this gentleman had been researching, looking for his grandmother's obituary. His grandmother's name was Alice; the clerk helping him was named Alice.....and my grandmother's name was Alice.....whew....we quit at that....lol Just thought I'd pass this along.....kinda wierd, but kinda kewl too..... Have a blessed week, y'all. NoelleR |

Is that odd or God? share this with me: "Yes, there are two paths to go by. But in the long run, there's still time to change the one your on." (Led Zepplin, Stairway To Heaven)

Wow, how neat that must be to go and listen to Joel Osteen all the time! In person!!! I love his messages.

When we share of ourself, people feel at home and loved. and one of these days I will find the answer to what it means being a seventh son of a seventh son. (my great grandfather) In high school, there were two of us with the same first name in my class. When the teacher would call me, the other guy would say...Who Me? When the teacher would call on him... I would say...Who me?
