Praise Reports & Prayer Request Update

I hope everyone had a blessed day today!

I wanted to share some praise reports and update on my prayer request, it is amazing how God works in situations - even more amazing is how pre-Christians can't see Him at work and chalk things up to coincidence...

I need prayer for my finances...I owe $20k in taxes.

PRAISE! This is nowhere near as bad as originally thought. My business partner has a habit of giving bits and pieces of info and did a poor job of relaying information. The $20k is before I take any deductions, exemptions, adjustments, etc. There might still be some tax due but should be a fraction of what I thought! Whew!!!

I need prayer for my business.

PRAISE! It is amazing how God works in ALL situations, these two tie in together. 1st quarter is slow for my business, and this year has been a little extra slow. Being aware of that we always stash reserves when times are good. However, the reserves were getting thin and we need to make it about 1 more month to see our cash flow increase. One of our finance companies ran an audit on some payments they made us last year and discovered they had shorted us quite a bit of money, they deposited those fund into my account on Friday, the amount is about $500.00 more than what we needed to make it another month. That can only be God!

I need prayer for my physical health.

PRAISE! This one is amazing... I was having issues with my leg and some nerve pain. Well, I fractured my foot and as a result had to be off my feet as much as possible. A side effect of this was that the nerve seemed to calm down - I guess it wasn't being irritated with me standing - and now my leg is much better. My foot is still healing but should be good as new soon. One thing I took out of this is that God's solutions to our problems don't always come packaged as we expect them, and sometimes the solution can be painful as well. But in the end a situation that may have never healed has received what it needed to heal. Amen!

Going through a divorce.
I need prayer for my mental/emotional health.

These are still tough, I think tougher than before. I find myself missing 'things'. Companionship, affection, someone to have dinner with, go to sleep with and wake up next to - I'm missing those things. I'm very active with friends and church, which helps a lot, but still miss having a partner in life. I feel plain loony sometimes - one day I'm great and independent and the next I feel pretty darn lonely and down... continued prayer is appreciated.

Please pray for my wife.

Can't leave this out, she needs prayer too. I do hope that one day she realizes some things and is able to address them and heal.

Miracles are for believers. They are answers to faith and trust in God.

As a fence sitter in my belief... coincidence after coincidence after coincidence, you start to see a pattern. God will use coincidences to open the eyes of some. I know it helped me grow.


Thank you for sharing and do know that my prayers are still with you and your wife. We do serve a Lord of miracles.

It's not 'easy on the ear' but sure does provide a wonderful message of hope and encouragement. Thank you.
