| Joyce Meyer
Good Morning! Went to see Joyce Meyer last night in Phoenix. WOW! Aside from waiting a LONG time, and sitting in the very back row, it was a fantastic evening. She brought so many people to Christ, I was truly moved... Of course, she started out talking about worry... HELLO KEN -- are you listening? I knew God put me at last night for a reason.... her message was "Calm, Cool and Collected.." something I knew very little about, and one of the things I really need to pray about and let God do what He needs to do... For those playing along at home, the Bible verses she referenced: John 14:27 Romans 14 John 16:33 John 14:30 2 Timothy 4:5 It was a great night, and definitely planted a seed in the hearts of those I was with (my wife and her friends, none of whom are saved...)... all in God's time. Joyce's Alter Call was moving and powerful, and just awe inspiring.... I am trying to figure out when I can go to another session this weekend maybe with my son. Much Love in Christ, Ken

I was going to see Joyce on March 13, 14 and 15 in Winston-Salem, NC but I do not have anyone to watch my children now. I am very disappointed. I watch her every morning on TV and I don't know where she was this morning, but she did an alter call so I quit putting on my make-up, went and sat on the end of the bed and listened. I closed my eyes and prayed the prayer she offered for those to come closer to Christ and before I knew it, I was sobbing!!! Needless to say, I had to put my make-up BACK on but when I walked out of the house this morning - I felt renewed! She is so awesome!! I went to see her a few years ago and although I was impressed and moved, I didn't really appreciate what was happening in that collisium so I was really looking forward to seeing her in a few weeks. I'm glad you enjoyed her and I hope you get to see her soon. I'm reading Battlefield of the Mind right now because I have an AH in detox right now who has relapsed and we have split up. That book is so appropriate and has been so cleansing to my spirit that I don't think I would have gotten through this past month without it. Thank you for posting about her. I'm sure you'll get more responses as she is somewhat of a hero amongst us. |

Excellent! I'm glad you had a wonderful time. I should have a PhD in worrying. ha! I know it gets me nowhere but man, my mind loves to harbor on worrying! Give it all over to God and it will dissolve.... Many blessings, fifty
