| Scripture & Recovery...
To help me in my recovery from drug addiction there are two scriptures I have written on the outside edges of my Bible that are a tremendous help . Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course but the Lord determines his steps. 1 Cor. 15:33 Do not be misled; bad company corrupts good character. This one is my biggest inspiration because everytime I feel like visiting my old drug buddies, it reminds me of how much trouble I might get into. I also came to realize that they don't care about me or were really my friends but was only when I was doing drugs with them that they were my friends. |

I always knew that I have a cameleon type personality so hanging around with other believers has been seen as a good thing for that reason vs hanging out with the old crowd. Guess I am not so unique after all. Per the scripture it seems to be part of being human.
