A Praise Report !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Thank You Dear CIR Friends......

For praying....

Three amazing things happened this week.

1. My daughter J passed her State Boards on Monday and is now a registered

nurse!

2. My disability income was unanimously approved by the Board Wednesday

evening!

3. Yesterday..my son Chris passed his final Navy exam second highest in

his class, is now a petty officer and i will travel to see him graduate

next week!

I asked for prayer for all of these needs...and thank you all for praying.

Tears stream down my face as I type, friends. I had to ask my Father to

forgive me for doubting and unbelief...and I know he did...because He

knows "we are but dust"...and He loves us so very very much.

"Dear Heavenly Father..I thank You for answering these prayers for my

children's needs and that of my own...and thank You for being faithful

for providing...and I now ask that you bless my friends who prayed with me..

and bless them back a hundred fold into their lives."

Now we both have another nurse in our family and we both have a petty officer protecting our freedom while serving in the Navy.
My SIL past her boards as well.

Congratulations to them all. I know how much study it took for them both to get there.

When I visited my son for his graduation, we went to Crackerbarrel for all three meals of the day. I love that place *LOL*

A special thanks to friends here for prayers...prayer does work.

I flew with my sis to another city on Wednesday and met with my boy, my sweet

heart of my heart...and was able to spend some time with him. We actually had

breakfast on Thursday morning with his Dad and step mom.

Chris was anxious..but I told him.."Son..a lot of time has passed..we are all grown ups..

and we are all Christians."

And you know...we all had a wonderful breakfast with our boy!

All of his instructors bragged on him to me..about how talented he is.

Thank you all for praying about him passing his exams...

But please continue to mention Chris to the Lord...his heart is very heavy as

he is leaving in a few days to another state..months earlier than planned.

Change is hard...for all of us..but these young folk it is especially so.

I found out that the months earlier then planned caused my son to have only a short time of leave between one school to the next but when his next leave came around... We had him home with us for 3 weeks vs just a week.
He will give a little now but gain more later.

I may go visit my son near the middle of the month. A day's ride and I will be in warmer weather and having dinner with my son.
