A very special friend died two days ago leaving behind five children. She had fought cancer for the last few years and went through a horrible time. She was a decent, caring person and i am sure she understands now why things were the way they were.
Can i ask you to please pray for her children and other family and friends in the difficult times ahead, many thanks to you all.

My Father suffered the pain and misery of Cancer for only about 5 months, but I remember how horrible it was for him. I can honestly say, that for the first time in my life I could understand when people would say, "At least they aren't suffering anymore." I heard that after my Little Sister died back in '91 and wanted to smack everyone who said that to me. I wanted her back here with me! I missed her. She struggled with this disease of addiction for years and was hospitalized with cirrosis for 6 weeks before she passed away.I was using during this time as well. With my Dad, now that I am in Recovery, I can say that I know that at least he's not suffering anymore. Dad and I were very close and I spoke to him at least 2 - 3 times a day. I can remember the pain in his voice, no matter how hard he tried to cover it up, I knew. I Pray that God will fill all of your hearts with the happy memories of your friend, their Mother. May you soon realize that now, she is truly in a better place. She is no longer in pain. She may not be here with you physically, but memories can never be erased from our minds and hearts. God Bless you all and Hold you in His Arms at this time,more than ever.
