| Needing alot of prayers...
I just found out today that my mom has about 2-3 weeks to live. She has been fighting cancer for over a year now and the battle is almost over. The guilt is starting to creep into my heart because of all the pain and sufferinr I have caused her from my drug induced days. It doesn't help that she lives on the east coast and I live on the west coast or that I only got around to see her every few years. Please pray for my heart to heal and the guilt to go away and for her. Thanks all. HR |

HR, I am soooo sorry your mom is dying. I pray you would be able to ask her for forgiveness and ask the Lord to forgive you too. Your sin was really against him. I am sure your mom has been glad to see you have turned your life around. Blessings, Sheila |

We know that when we believe upon You that our sin is removed as far as the east is removed from the west. And it is remembered no more.... Thank You for Your great sacrifice... I am so sorry to hear what is going on with you and your mom. I hope you can talk with her about your feelings.

Harley,, I went through a similar situation with my mom. She died about 5 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. Although she was my best friend, and we had put eachother through much in life, I could not bring myself to say anything to her other than small talk. I was SO afraid of what she was going through, and I was in SO much pain. So I never did, even though every day I was with her I wanted so badly to say so much, I never did say anything. I am sorry for what you are going through with your mom. If you can talk to her, call her. Tell her you love her. Tell her whatever is on your mind. Let her tell you what she wants to tell you. Ask for forgiveness IF this is important for your peace. Otherwise, maybe you can send a card, telling her you love her, if it's hard for her to talk on the phone. This may help you feel better, and this may help you forgive yourself, and get past the guilt.. I would guess that she already forgives you Harley, but it will help you.. You and your mom are in my prayers.. Keep posting Harley,, and keep talking about it,, please don't shut down,, and above all seek God for your needs.. You will find comfort with him.   Becky
