| Prayers for my children please
Hi there everyone. I am wondering of you would all please pray for my son and my daughter. We have been struggling through some difficult times, and I would greatly appreciate some added prayer.. My twins are 15 years old. I have caught my daughter smoking on and off over time, for quite a long time. She is much like me, and started smoking when she was very young. To make a long story very short, she has now finally stopped, about 2 weeks ago, and has been struggling with this terrible, awful cough. I pray that it is her lung clearing themselves, and trying to become healthy again. I don't know, she is not sick, but the cough is terrible, dry often. I am so afraid of it. I can not stand to listen to her cough, because I am afraid, she coughs so much. She says she never wants to smoke again, she has been relieved of this I pray. Will you pray with me please, for her lungs to become healthier again. My son has really been giving me a hard time. He has been lying, and stealing. Just doing things that I never thought he would do.. I have been really hurt by the things he has done. I pray that he finds his was soon, and doesn't get into this stuff any worse than he already has. Times have been tough with him, and the kids he has been trying to hang around with, it almost seems like a daily problem with him recently. Ya know, somedays I just don't know what will happen next with him. Please will you also pray for him. I really appreciate you all being here for me in my time of need. ![]() I know God loans us our children.. I know I haven't always been the best mom.. I haven't always taught them the best, because they haven't always seen the best examples. I can only show them now as best as I can. I pray God will work in their life, and they will search him out. I know my daughter is. That does comfort me. Thanks so much. ![]() God Bless,, Becky

When we stop smoking, we start coughing. It is the body healing itself. Prayers that she remain on the right path. So for your son... sit down and have a gentle talk with him. Ask what is going on and see if there are needs not being met or if he is just being a teenager and trying to fly on his own. Prayers that your words are what need be said and that your ears hear what he may share.

As for my son, I have had him in counseling for quite some time now. They do think that he is bi polar, and has anger issues, which does go along with bi polar. He also had gotten in with some children that were getting into trouble, but he seems to always lean that way. He always looks for the kids that are getting in trouble, or maybe it's that he's the one that is getting everyone in trouble now??? I don't even know anymore. We talk alot, but I'm afraid he lies alot. Which is why I would love the prayers going out for him. Thanks so much... Thank you Dean. ![]() Becky

Hi there.. Just wanted to update,, and ask for continued prayer for my children, as they are both still struggling ![]() My daughter is still struggling with that cough. :o( I don't know if she has asthma, or if she has a virus that has been going around this area, that is has a real long lasting cough.. She seems to cough when she goes out into the cold air, and just on and off, in the house, and elsewhere. It's a tough cough though. I am thinking it's about time to head to the doctor soon if it doesn't clear up. I haven''t taken her, because she has quit smoking, ( now for 28 days!!!! As for my son, he is still struggling on and off with his behavior. We have caught him on and off smoking. We have also caught him in lies,, and he doesn't always hang around with kids we approve of. This has been an ongoing issue. But he was doing other things, and he seems to be working on his life slowly. At least it seems that way.. I pray,, please will you pray with me for him as well. Thanks so much for listening, and for your prayers. ![]() God Bless, Becky

Is your daughter coughing anything up? Perhaps it's her lungs trying to relieve themselves of the toxins that the smoked caused. Anyhow, I will pray for them both in my rosary intentions tomorrow and next week. God Bless, Fifty

Hi Angel, I applaud your daughter in her decission to quit smoking, a hard thing to do with peer pressure etc... Not to minimize her coughing, I would be worried as well, but hopfully is just her lungs cleaning themselves out, or perhaps a virus. Prayers are with you and your son and daughter. God Bless
