| Healing Prayers
I am requesting from my you healing prayers in helping me withdraw from what I thought was a harmless anti-anxiety drug, lorazapam. My use was fairly minimal but over a 3 month period and now I find I am captive by huge withdrawal symptoms. I was told that Lorazapam is highly addictive, but it didn't click that that meant big withdrawals.. especially when taken within doctor's guidelines.

With prayer, we need add actions for many things. Lord, I have a problem... addiction. I can't control the problem on my own...realization. With Your help and strength that will fill me upon asking... I can do all things through Christ that stengthens me. God's love in action. Step out in faith as you ask and it shall be done.

Hello MNgirlygirl, I can understand how you feel. When I had withdrawal symptoms, it was awfull!!!! (I was addicted to alcohol and medications - tranquilizers and all downers....) I would then rush and open my bible, pray out loud and long, take hot baths, go for long walks, sports, telephone or talk with loving people....... Pray and ask Jesus to help you, find some loving and supporting people in your church or group, it will get better with each day that passes. Had to laugh when I read your signature! You have a sense of humour, thats good! Now take care ! ![]() |
