need help with something

I posted this about a year back. I'm a dumbutt who doesn't really understand gods, the cosmos and whatnot but my mom has been trying to save me for years. I don't know how to tell her to stop worrying so much about my soul. I tell her that being in recovery it is kinda dangerous for my mind to delve into such matters. I have to keep it simple. I certainly don't want her awake at night worrying about me. Any help?

Windy, the thing we LOVE about you is that you do keep it simple and it works for you. There may not be anything you tell her, to stop worrying about your soul. Its her belief system...just keep telling her you love her and your actions over time will speak louder than words. Your first priority is focusing on you and doing what you know works for you. It is her job to deal with worrying about your soul if she chooses to. Don't know , but hope this helps... Btw, hope you're feeling better, no more scary dreams

I hope I don't come off sounding callous about your mom, didn't mean to. I am a mom of an addicted child and I feel for her worrying about you, but I just want you to know you can't protect her from her angst over your soul.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH are you nuts....................LOL
I am a double PK( preachers kids meaning both of my parents are preachers both of different faiths) according to them youd die a horriable death.......then they raised me.....lol I have a degree in Theology and that is how my parents actually understood I was about the universe rather than one perticuliar God Goddess host hostess what ever........ as for moms dont know what to tell you, my Gamma ( god rest her Soul) was catholic, and I mean the Roman kind yet 3 weeks before she died she "gave her heart to the lord" ( Is this the wrong time to say I think that is why she is gone......was the heart attack), we do things in our own time for the comfort of us and of our immediate others.......ie my mom and step dad telling Gamma they had gotten married so my mom wasn't living in sin?! Let her know you have your own way of finding peace and pray to god that she finds her and if she wants to pray for you so be just dont preach.......good luck..........lol and God Bless................

thanks y'all. all of the above is good info. the "accept JC as your personal saviour" stuff kinda freaks me out when she asks me. i think i'll tell her to put her worries in god's hands. that sounds like it'll work.

now, back to my hacking and snotblasting. LOL
