Hello everybody! I posted some time ago regarding my pastor, who is a closet alcoholic. The church members only know that something is wrong, they do not know what. Tomorrow night we are having a church meeting to discuss the crisis. Two elders have already left. The church is falling apart. Please pray for wisdom, grace, honesty, light and that Gods will be done, what ever the outcome may be. Please pray that all involved have the courage to stand up for the truth and that they are honest. Please pray that all involved extend grace to each other. Please pray for healing for the church and that the pastor does the right thing. ![]() Have a nice week. |

Used in the proper context.... Where two or more are gathered in My Name...I will be with them. The Holy Spirit will fill the house. This is God's promise. Lord I ask that hearts be touched and ears opened so that all will do Your will and find Your answers.

| We Do Recover | If we cannot practice patience, kindness, tolerance, love in church--then what is our motive for really being there--who are we really serving>God or ourselves? Praying that the matter be discussed/presented in a caring rather than condemning manner. I hope it works out for the best. My thoughts/prayers are with you & your church family.

Dear Lord: Please use this opportunity for healing to happen. You understand addiction as no one else can. If it is Your will, may the scales of denial be removed from those who cannot see clearly. And for those who need denial as a protection, may they not cause this problem to be pushed under the rug. Amen.

Lord, as you are there in the meeting, may there be no judgement passed. Please fill everyone there with the compassion & understanding that only comes from you. May all decisions be made with the love of Jesus. May your grace & mercy & healing be upon this pastor & church. In Jesus name, Amen.
