Prayers needed - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

My second born son (27 years old) is in the hospital as of Tuesday morning.
He has a ruptured disc in his back and they will operate on him today (Wed.).

Prayers please that the Lord guides the Dr's hands and skills and that my son may realize who is in control and keeps him safe.

Lord heavely father, we ask that you be with bests son during this time, and also that you comfort his family during his procedure. We also ask that you are with the doctors, and guide their hands as they take care of bests son, and do what they need to do. Lord, we know that no matter what, you love us, and we are so grateful for that.

Just heard..my friend Best. You knoiw..it doesn'tmatter if they are two or twenty two..

they are our precious boys. I was praying for my son recently ..very worried, and the

Lord seemed to whisper to me in my prayer.."I just loaned him to you..he's MY boy."

I will pray for a swift recovery for "your" boy Best.

The doctors do the surgery..God does the healing..

and through you He just whispered the same to me.

The Dr rescheduled things till tomorrow. The OR was so booked up that the Dr feels doing it tomorrow (fresh) would be better then staying late and doing things around 11PM tonight.
11 AM Thursday and a rested up Dr sounds better to me as well.

Prayers are already working it seems.

Thank you all and Thank you Lord.

He is in the recovery room and has woken up enough that he talked on the phone.

Dr said the MRI didn't fully show how bad things were but the Dr also said that the damage was very easy to fix and a full recovery should come very quickly.

6 weeks of doing nothing. My son will like that *LOL*

What could have been and what was... I can only say that the Lord has been in charge the whole time. 1/8 inch difference could have been a different story.
