| Get back up! That simple! There is no trick and the treat is God will help her. He is made perfect in our weakness. He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first. Encourage her and pray. The enemy's goal is the destruction of the family. I pray she choose life and encourage her to forgive herself as God has forgiven her. |

Hi, I relapsed after 7.5 months this past summer...lost 5 days ..would have a year in January if I would not have done this. I believe I may have lost the "days" in terms of alchohol abstenance in a row but I did not lose the spritual growth I gained during the 7.5months of living sober. What does the Bible say..a righteous man falleth 7 times and 7 times gets back up. So that is what I did. The hardest thing for me was the temptation to feel I "lost" something. In retrospect I gained a new found "appreciation" of where I am NOT to go again...so "all things work together for good"...so here I am close to 90 days (again) Your support and ENCOURAGEMENT would be huge in my book. i gain more strength from encouragement than anything. |

Mercedes, I felt that way too. I decided I wanted to keep going and learn to live life in a manner pleasing to God for the rest of it's natural course whether that life was going to turn out the way I wanted or not. I am learning to meet calamity with serenity.
