| God did it again.
Last night was a rough night with my daughter. I'm pretty sure she is using again, and going into one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city to get her drugs. We had a huge fight on the phone last night, and I ended up at the midnight meeting crying my eyes out and pouring my guts out. At the break a young man I never met before came up to me and asked if we could pray for her right then and there. So, when everyone else was outside smoking during the break, we stayed inside, put our arms around each other and prayed. It turns out he is a christian in recovery also. He had no idea I was, but something led him to come and talk to me and pray with me. Can we all guess what that 'something' was, Or should I say "who" that 'someone' was? It made me feel so much better. I got chills when the young man was praying and he asked God to send a band of angels down to surround and protect my daughter. I immediately knew she would end up being OK and safe last night. Please keep her in your prayers.

Prayers for you Henry. Today can be the start of a new you. Keep doing the next right thing and things will get better and you can start living the life God has planned for you. We can't overcome things in our own strength, but we can with God. Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." |

Yes Henry.. Prayers going out to you,, get close to God,, talk to him, it helps. Call friends when things seem difficult, or come here and post.. Find meetings to attend. There are christian meetings available as well. Things always have a way of working themselves out, when you trust in God. He has a plan.. All will be well. Becky
