Wink New Music?

Praise music keeps me grounded daily, and i have a new favorite!! I know these 'favorite song' threads come around quite a bit, but this new song from Casting Crowns is awesome! (CD won't be out till 8/28) What's your latest favorite??

East to West-Casting Crowns

Here I am Lord and I’m drowning, in Your sea of forgetfulness
The chains of yesterday surround me, I yearn for peace and rest
I don’t want to end up where You found me
And it echoes in my mind
Keeps me awake tonight
I know you’ve cast my sin as far as the East is from the West
And I stand before You now as though I’ve never sinned
But today I feel like I’m just one mistake away
From You leaving me this way

Chorus:
Jesus can you show me just how far the east is from the west
‘Cause I can’t bear to see the man I’ve been
Rising up in me again
In the arms of Your mercy I find rest
‘Cause You know just how far the east is from the west
From one scarred hand to the other

I start the day, the war begins
Endless reminding of my sin
And time and time again
Your truth is drowned out by the storm I’m in
Today I feel like I’m just one mistake away
from You leaving me this way

I know You’ve washed me white
Turn my darkness into life
I need Your peace to get me through
To get me through this night
I can’t live by what I feel
About the truth Your word reveals
I’m not holding on to You
But You’re holding on to me
You’re holding on to me

Sounds like a song of stinkin thinkin and the last verses hold the key I have found.

Jesus will always be with us (holding on to me) and I find that the stinkin thinkin comes when I stop holding on to Him. (trusting His word)

When satan reminds us of our past...Remind him of his future.
As we stand before the Judge at the throne... satan will bring up our every sin from our past and lay our whole life before God. Our lawyer will then stand up and state our defense.
Jesus is our lawyer and He will stand before the Father in our place as He shows the nail holes and scars while telling satan... All has been paid. This person's debt has been wiped clean. You have nothing you can say against this person... they are one of mine.

and with that... The Father throws the case out of His court and tells us we are free to enter past the gates. satan has no hold on those who accept the Lord as their righteousness.
