i am backsliden for about 20-25 years ...how do you find your way back home. Seriously...
Someone suggested that I blasphemed many years ago and it ruined my life to this day. I ended up in mental hospital and was never the same since. that was over 30 years ago. ....yuk

Who ever told you that needs to read the bible and find the truth.
Just your being here and asking questions tells me you have not forsaken the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Blasphemed... The Holy Spirit speaks to us all. Those who hear but still reject God right up till the day they die have blasphemed the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Just your being here and asking about such things is telling me that the Holy Spirit is guiding you and you are listening and looking for answers. Does that sound like rejection to you? Sure doesn't to me. God will never reject you and you sure seem to be seeking Him.
Accept in your heart what you know is truth... Jesus loves you.
His own words.... I will never leave you Joe nor forsake you Joe.
He has not and will not give up on you Joe. All you need do is reach up and say Thank You Lord as you accept His love.
