Old feelings - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Please keep me in your prayers. As my daughter continues treatment and does well the day she will be released gets closer! The last couple of days I have been so anxious. Bad dreams last night, my mind won't shut off. I have been praying all day and feel better, and I know it's the enemy trying to test my patience and faith. I turned her over to God long ago and know she is in the best hands. I just want the devil to get behind me and leave me alone!!

Prayer for her and for you. I try not to give the devil too much of my attention, when he tries his stuff I say..."oh, it's you again?" then I say "Get lost in Jesus' name!" It works every time. Our God is powerful.

Dealing with some of the same emotions but towards a brother.
A wise friend reminded me that some feelings are normal and that time works things out...as well as continued prayer and remembering that God is in control.
