please pray for my daughter - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

My 17 year old daughter, as many of you know, has been using.

She started using heroin, and now she has a habit.

she is going through withdrawl right now. I am detoxing her at home cold turkey. It's been a long, rough night.

right now she is sleeping on the love seat in the living room, I have to keep an eye on her. I don't want her to go out and cop. She thanked me last night for helping her, and for not letting her out of the house.
She said she wants to stop, but when she gets sick it is hard not to go out and get high. This way, she has no choice.

Pray that once we are through this that she doesn't pick up again. I told her she has to go to meetings everynight while she is still living here. She agreed (for now anyway).

I was.

But yesterday she moved out and went to her dads house. It didn't go well and she isn't speaking to me right now.

I did alot of crying last night. It gave me a headache today.

You gave her the tools. She will make her choices from there.
Prayers that she has seen enough joy from her days sober that she will continue to make the right choices.

I called her yesterday, and she wants me to call her again today.

She was looking for a meeting down there when I called her. At least she is talking to me again.
