Prayers Needed - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi, I really could use alot of prayer tonite. First I got a letter from my AS yesterday & he asked me to call a guy from the Half-Way House he was in last yr. Then he asked me to get 150 from my mom & send it to him to buy a tv for his cell. Now my mom claims she has the money put aside hidden from my dad then she claims to be done with him......confused enough yet I know I am. If I do this I am letting my AS put me in the middle. I swore I was done with him if he continued using. Please pray for me that I stay strong when it comes to my AS, and that my AS gets clean & stays clean once & for all.
Then my other son is 33 & basically a good kid but I have said yes far too much. I want to type the whole story but my carpal tunnel is killing me tonite so just say I told him no when he asked for money & he had a hugh temper tantrum in front of his 5 yr old & my husband heard us argueing, came out of the bedroom & they got into a terrible verbal fight & then my son pushed my husband & I was terrified as they were geting into a fight & I called the police. The 2 yr old saw it too. My son went outside to his car & was sitting there with his girlfriend & the police came. My son left. They spoke to us & we didn't press charges & they said they would go to his house to talk to him.
I am so very very upset. My husband is furious & I am too. We have done so very much for this kid. Please pray for me & my family that if he is doing anything that we don't know about that it comes to light. In the 2yrs he has been a single dad & we have been helping him he has NEVER behaved like this no matter what.
I am not doing well tonite.

I want a TV...buy your own.
Comforts of home...how about a good book to read rather then watching TV.
I know just the book.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you because the hand gets pulled away.

Prayers that you are given the strength and conviction to do what is best for you and your husband. Young able bodied boys can do for themself. Disrespect should not be rewarded in my opinion.

Thanks Best & CMC,I am very tired of my adult sons asking me fr things & the problems lie in when I say no my younger son behaves like a 2 yr old spoiled baby. I KNOW prayer is the only way to deal with things so all your prayer for us is deeply appreciated. I will keep you & yours in my prayers also.

Thanks K, I am so very tired of being used & abused by a grown man. Believe it or not but my younger son is alot worse than my AS. When my AS asks for something & I say I can't he accepts in graciously & never even gets angry as well he shouldn't. The younger one is like a spoiled brat & refuses to accept No for an answer.
Even after the fight last nite he is calling me this am asking for $50. I hung up on him 3 times.
I am so weary of this.
