How do you handle...

How do you handle days like I've been having the past couple days.

I'm tired physically, I have had a migraine for a couple days now that I am just trying to push through, and even though I am praying and meditating (reading small print is out when my head hurts this bad), I feel 'OK', but not that filled up feeling that I've had.

I didn't make it to church yesterday, and I am beating myself up a little over that.

Do you just let yourself be tired, and know that when you feel better, you'll feel better, or is there something else I should be doing?

I think we go in cycles hon... if your tired ... give yourself some time to rest... maybe take some tynol pm and get a good nights sleep.... when Im in a funk like that I try to watch comedy or get together with "fun" friends and yak about girly stuff.

Make sure to eat good foods as well as getting some sleep. ((hugs))

Daily Reflections or 24 Hours a Day (I forget which) had a meditation that said (paraphrased)

"God did not create us to be in a constant state of activity. When we are tired, we rest."

So, I rest.

Us mommies have so much to do, don't we? When you're tired, take time to rest.
We can't take care of the children and other responsiblilites if we're not healthy, so it's important to take care of our own needs too. Praying you feel better soon.

Today, even with the same headache since Saturday, and tired, I kept praying. Jesus, please keep me filled with the Holy Spirit. The day seemed to go rather well.
Thanks for the responses.
