| prayers please
Hi friends, My hubby recently had three biopsies for skin cancer and the one that was pre-cancerous was worked on for the second time today. He has about 15 stitches as the area removed spanned over 5 inches across his back. Another area was found to have squamous cell cancer and that will be taken care of next. We are blessed to have the best Mohs surgeon in this part of the state doing the operation. He is also well known for his ability as a plastic surgeon so that is a comfort as well. Please pray for healing and for the cancer to be eradicated, never to return. There is a family history of it and our daughter had melanoma many years ago, so we have to keep a close eye on things in our family. My husband has other health issues and this has been upsetting to add one more thing to the list of problems. Thanks for reading and most of all thanks for your prayers of faith. cmc

Hi cmc, I'm sorry to hear that your hubby is going through even more medical problems. I will be praying for his healing and for this to never return. Don't forget to take care of and pamper yourself a little during this major time of stress. Maybe a long, hot bubble bath is in order?! ((((((((((Caring Hugs))))))))))

I really do appreciate all of your kind replies and your prayers. I slept pretty well last night, and that in itself will make things alot easier for me. He will see the surgeon tomorrow and the next procedure should be set up soon afterwards. He's at work today and just told me he had alot of pain last night but now feels only a dull ache- thanks to the Lord!  cmc

Lord, you must be so tired, hum? of the pain... Well all we can do is go on. May God give you happiness and fast healing and most of all may you two share the rest of your life together and may that rest be a very long, healthy time.... God bless you and your whole family. we just have to believe!

update: The surgery is tomorrow morning at 8:00. The dr said things are worse than we were told and alot of tissue will be removed- please continue to pray that it won't be as extensive and disfiguring as he was told it might be. He will definitely be having reconstructive work done. The good thing, is that the doctor did find other areas that needed removal so it can all be taken out at one time. Thanks for your prayers.

He needed extensive surgery-more so than predicted. He was there for about 6 hours from start to finish. He's home now. At least they got it all out. The PA kept telling me that he handled it well, she said what I already know. He's a tough guy. I'm usually pretty tough myself but today am not feeling that way.  It hurts me to see him suffer. Please keep those prayers coming...I can't thank you all enough for your support.

Was up before his surgery and adding more prayers. Let Mr C know he has been in my thoughts and prayers through the day and my prayers are now for a fast recovery from the Dr's poking at him. Prayers for you as well.
