Opposition or victory?

'Our promised lands are characterized by the presence of victory, not by the absence of opposition.'

Father, Your Word promises we can know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His pupose (Rom. 8:28).

My own problems and situations are not exempt from this list. As hard as it may be for me to comprehend, You can and will work these terrible challenges for good if I will cooperate with You and see myself as one called according to Your purpose.

Thanks be to You, my God, who always leads me in triumphal procession in Christ, desiring to spread everywhere through me the fragrance of the knowledge of Him (2 Cor 2:14)!

You can only lead me to victory, Christ Jesus. Please help me to remember that I have to keep following you to get there.

Thanks for sharing that with us. It always amazes me how so many of the daily devotional's topic of the day share a common theme or provide exactly what is needed for the particular moment.

This is a good reminder for me today.
