Spirit to spirit communication

“No man ever sank under the burden of the day. It is when tomorrow’s burden is added to the burden of today that the weight is more than a man can bear. Never load yourself so. If you find yourself so loaded, at least remember this: it is your own doing, not God’s. He begs you to leave the future to Him, and mind the present.” George MacDonald

“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19 NASB

The love of Christ surpasses knowledge. That means that you can’t understand all of the love that Jesus has for us with the mind. My mind kept me from accepting Jesus for many years because I tried to have a complete understanding of this great act of love that the Father did for us, by sending His Son to die for me. There was no way I could understand it with my mind. It had to go from my mind to my heart to my spirit. This love that God bestowed upon all people lives in my inner man. As it moves from my spirit to my heart where my emotions live, and on to my mind, I find that I try and express this love in words, and have a difficult time. That is because it surpasses knowledge. It is so difficult to try and explain the love of God to someone who has not experienced it. But let another person who has the love of God in their spirit share with me, and I find a common understanding, a spirit to spirit communication going on. We can speak with a common understand and share knowledge. Since I have trouble explaining this great love that I experienced, I find that God has given me a comprehension of His spiritual nature and this lives within me. God is doing for me what I could not do for myself……........toad

GOD’S LOVE

God’s love is:
Boundless (breadth, v 18)
Endless (length, v 18)
Fathomless, exhaustless (depth, v 18)
Measureless (height, v 18)
All that is included in the breadth, length, depth, and height is submerged in the immensity of the love of God which comprehends all that is above, below, and past, present, and future. It encompasses the universe, and time and eternity. It reaches to the depth of sin and infamy, to the height of the infinite divinity. It passes all knowledge and wisdom. God’s gift to man is the measure of His love (Jn. 3:16); the death of Christ is the measure of His love (Rom. 5:5-10); and the condescension of the Holy Spirit to transform men and work in their lives it the measure of the love of the Spirit to man (Jn. 16:7-15).

Toad...

For me...it was a little different..from heart to mind.

The love of God touched my heart in a miraculous way in

my hotel room on June 8, 2006.

He told me I was too valuable to Him, to commit suicide.

A precious child of the most High God.

My mind was so sick I could not comprehend it...I felt the

Holy Spirit like an electric shock....and was suddenly

reminded...

Sherry, you don't have to die.

My Son did this for you.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Bible, John xv. 13.

Love you toad...

Sherry

Brings a song to mind...

Wes King - The Love of Christ

Incomparable kindness to less than the least
To the broken, the battered, and weak
To all who are hungry there comes a call
To be filled with the fullness of God
It's beyond all you can see
Farther than you'd believe
It's a mystery
My prayer for you is that you would know

CHORUS:
How wide, and how long, and how high, how deep is the love
How deep is the love of Christ

The width of two arms outstretched on a tree
The length of the road to Calvary
The height of the crown on a cruel cross
The depth of the pain is the cost
All for you, all for me
All for love did He bleed
All to set us free
My prayer for you is that you woul know

CHORUS

This hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford’s life. The first was the great Chicago Fire of October 1871, which ruined him financially (he had been a wealthy businessman). Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford’s daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford’s wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, “Saved alone.” Several weeks later, as Spafford’s own ship passed near the spot where his daughters died, the Holy Spirit inspired these words. They speak to the eternal hope that all believers have.................

no matter what pain and grief befall them on earth.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

But, Lord, ‘tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh trump of the angel! Oh voice of the Lord!
Blessèd hope, blessèd rest of my soul!

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

Refrain

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am undone....if you click on the title in your browser..

You will have the song and the music...

Powerful...

Grace and comfort in a time of loss.

Love,

Sherry

I finally had a unusual dream last night. And I know it was not real! That's good news for me since most of my dreams could be real, I never know if my dreams are reality or reality are dreams.

Anyway, I was re arranging the rocks inside my pond outside and moving plants around. I have 2 turtles and was hoping that they were not bothered by this. Just as I lifted up a pond plant, a rock was stuck to the bottom of it and so was both of my turtles, but there were stuck upside down on the rock, lot's of steem came up with them and the rock, (I guess it must have been really cold outside and they were warm), I freaked out because I did not want to hurt the turtles. I tried to peel them off the rock and noticed that each turtle had grown an extra neck and head coming out of their backs. They were screaming at me like little children and wanted to go back in the pond. I was so scared for their safety and tried to put them back in , but they kept floating up to the top of the water upside down and were dying. I kept pushing them back down, but they kept popping back up and upside down. I didn't know what to do so I started crying out loud and my husband came outside to see what was wrong. He told me to wait a minute and he would be back out to take care of it. A few minutes later, he came back out but all he had was a beer for me, as he gave it to me he told everything would now be ok.

That was a very unusual dream and I don't want to analyze it. I am pretty sure that I know what it meant!!!

It is nothing I could ever do to make up for any of the wrongs I have done.

I could do good works..make amends to everyone..restitution for everything.

Not enough.

And yet, I was forgiven while I was sinning..

Yes, by some folks in my life who loved me and knew I was sick. My mother is one.

And my children.

And God did. He chose to do it long before before the foundation of the earth was laid.

The Son..I believe..said "send Me."

And I personally believe He wanted to know what it is like to feel everything we

feel..every pain, and emotional heartbreak.

God, in the form of Christ..experienced just that in His 33 years here and utimately

at Golgotha. The Great Mystery.

I do not understand it, but I accept it.

And I am forever grateful.

Thanks, toad

Wow...so true, God doing for me what I could not do for myself.
I really love the what I call "new" (to me) Christian music (Michael W. Smith, etc.) but I have a special love for the old hymns. I recently got a dvd from Netflix called "Amazing Grace". It tells the story of how/why some of the old hymns were written, including Amazing Grace (my favorite) and Silent Night (that story is just awesome).

The mercy and grace of God for us is becoming more apparent and real to me, and I am truly in awe of Him and how much He loves us.

THE DAKE BIBLE
This underlined paragraph is such a good reminder to live in today. As I re-read older parts of this thread plus what has been recently added I was reminded of this verse.

James 1:7-8.

The Inspirational Bible:
"Such doubters are thinking two different things at the same time, and they cannot decide about anything they do. They should not think they will receive anything from the Lord."

The New American Standard Bible: (v-8)
".....being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

I want to stay focused; and not be double minded about the what ifs, what was or what might be. Sometimes I take on the burden of yesterday and tomorrow and it's never productive or peaceful. I'm much better off when I choose to live in today.

Thanks to all for sharing.

One of the very first Sunday School songs I learned...

Jesus loves the little children

All the children of the world.

Red and yellow, black and white

They are precious in His sight.

Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I have a tape of me singing that when I was 4..still had a Missouri accent.

I can imagine Jesus delighting in the laughter of the children...

Thanks, toad!
