Bet you were wondering

OK... maybe you have not been wondering... But here it is.... The newest song that has obsessed me.... and I cant get it out of my head.

I want to feel like this:

Daniel Kirkley - My New Dawn
From the album Let Love Win

Hiding in the midnight
I've watched life pass me by
Haunted by each heartbreak
And mistake, I've let weigh
Me down all this time
Now it feels like

Chorus
This is my new dawn
My yesterdays have come and gone
Walked in the dark too long
This is my new, this in my new dawn

I have washed my hands now
I've laid down all my doubts
I see that sun rising
Baptizing and shining
Straight into my soul

Chorus

Like a child suddenly everything's new
The colors collide and I see a beautiful view
I feel alive

Chorus

One of my favorites...

With music and video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQfKoCzn3Eg

Nicole C Mullen - Redeemer

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide till evening?
Who's words alone can catch a falling star?

Chorus:
Well I know my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
All of creation testifies
this life within me cries
I know my redeemer lives

ye-e-eah
The very same God
that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
and the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
they conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know, my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
let all creation testify
that this life within me cries
I-I-I know
my redeemer

He lives
to take away my shame
and he lives
forever I'll proclaim
the amount of pain that bought my sin
was the precious life He gave
and now he's alive and
there's an empty
grave!

And I know
my redeemer lives
I know
my redeemer lives
let all creation testify
that this life within me cries
I-I-I know my redeemer

I know
my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
I know my redeemer lives
He lives
He lives
*I spoke with him this morning!*
He lives
*I'm gonna tell everybody[/C]

This is an interesting topic. Well, let me throw this at you… I’m not much of a contemporary Christian music dude, but I do love the Lord. My pastor’s daughter turned me on to these guys. They are called Blindside. And they will rock the house down. They love the Lord and kick much butt at the same time… This is my favorite song…
TB

"Nerve"

Force me to open my mouth
Again because they know I don't want to
Speak loud when they make me feel
Like a boy scout
So hard to tell them You love them to
I can't give much if I punch back at
The one who hits first
Trying to make me feel ashamed
Because I'm touched
God help me see them
See my thirst

Tensed
But still so calm
Alright
Leaning on your arm
Beautiful spirit
Talk to me
Holy Spirit
Walk with me

They are liberated minds
I'm a narrow-minded fool
Why must it be
That a discussion is about beating
My mouth will be
Closed if there's no one seeking

You know I will be there
Love is so convincing
My words don't come out right
I will stay but not fight
Everybody believes in god
But it seems like no one does in You
But I do

I'm not ashamed

I think it is GREAT that God gets through to us in whatever way it takes for us to hear him... Now I need to go out and listen to that one... Love the Lyrics.

Geeezzzz They just keep coming ....

This one caught my attention too... not like Beauty from pain, but still.

MercyMe - Bring The Rain
From the album Coming Up To Breathe

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through

The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You

Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind

To turn my back on you oh Lord
My only shelter from the storms
But instead I draw closer through these times

So I pray

Chorus:
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus Bring the Rain

I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain

You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain

So I pray

Chorus:

(Repeats)
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty

Label: Integrity Music

Here is one of my favorites

You Never Let Go
by Matt Redman

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I’m caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won’t turn back
I know You are near

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

Chorus:
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We’ll live to know You here on the earth

Chorus:

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You
