We sometimes never know how one life touches another, no matter how briefly...

I was on here under another name, Cynay, I was very ill, using, suicidal,

and in all kinds of pain. I jumped into the middle of a thread and asked for help.

Somehow, no one responded to me. They all resumed the chatting.

Except for you.

You said "........", why are you crying? You asked me to meet you on another thread.

I was afraid to really talk,though, I knew that...because of your compassion I would tell all, and

I was not ready to give it up.

But I would go back and look at that sentence where you cared enough to ask.

That kept me going, kept me from doing a lot of things. I sensed you were a Christian and that you were a link to God, or, that He still cared.

We never know how one word, one sentence of compassion can have a profound and eventually healing effect on one who suffers.

She is a gift from God alright.

So glad to read of your changes as well Sherry.
You are truly an inspiration here as well. I can come here with joy already in me and your posts have increased that joy. I can come here getting ready to look for a pity pot and your posts fill me with joy and I stop looking for that pot.

I think God did alright giving us one another to help each other.
