| A Time for Everything
Ecclesiastes 3 A Time for Everything 1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: 2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, 6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. I was talking with a friend the other day and they had pointed out to me that even my negative behaviors of my past helped mold me into who I am today. The negatives were a needed part for building me into who I am. So many times we see the negatives in a negative light and in that season of our life, they were. In the here and now, amends made, a new day, I can take those negatives and turn them around to help others. By God's grace we get through the negatives of life. By God's love that He fills me with, I can take my ES&H and help another when they fall and help them find the path towards the light. Time and time again I see people say the same thing after they get out of the storms of life and realize what they have learned of life...they as well as me find a gratefulness of having had the storm in their life. Without the storms and without the pain, I never would know the wonderful feeling of God's peace...that special peace that transends all understanding. The stronger my pain, the stronger His grace was poured out. I can survive all things through Christ's love that strengthens me. What I ment for evil in my past, the Lord can and is using for good in the here and now. Thank You Jesus for the changes you have made in me. Steps 1, 2, and 3 saved me from myself and from the negative seasons of my life. Lord I have a problem. Lord I can't fix it on my own Jesus help me ...and He heard my cry and changed my whole life. Thank You Lord.

Thanks Best..........Nothing grows on a mountain top, it's down in the valley where you find the lillies. As we trudge through the mud of life we fail sometimes to realize that it's in the low spots where we find the most growth taking place.......great post, thanks for sharing........toad

As I reflect on the things I have learned in life and read the post about Abraham and his riches gained... I see how rich I am because of the knowledge base gained from life. Jesus said... if there be another way... and knowing what was to come, he still walked to the cross. As I reflect on my life, I see that there wasn't another way to learn the things I learned. I feel we are blessed that we don't know the future....would we still walk the path to gain what we know?
