Hello, I saw the Christians in Recovery title and really need some Christian guidance right now. I have been posting on the Friends and Families of Alcoholics forum since September, 2006. My husband is an alcoholic, and I moved out of our house in October, 2006 into my own apartment. We are still in contact with each other. I have been to therapy, al-anon, talked to a pastor, etc......My husband does not think he has a problem and refuses to go to therapy, church to talk to a pastor, etc.......... I am at a crossroads...............I know that I do not want to live like I did before, but I feel guilty in that divorce is not what God approves of. Just wanted some insight. Thanks.

Welcome Lilac What I have found to be the best things to do... continue the prayers for them and continue in my own growth and recovery. Let God handle the rest. Sounds simple but it works. God's timing will bring answers, we just need listen and wait.

Listening and waiting is the hard part.
