Thumbs up Whew

I am ticking away at two weeks. I am glad that this week is over, it was a short week, but a long one never the less. I have been praying daily, and just seeking the Lord's wisdom. I have to admit it is helping. I started a journal on the web that is my private prayer journal. It is not that I have not thought about drinking, but it has been easier to stay away from it.

I have no misonceptions that the next weeks will be easy. I got used to the attention when I was drinking, but my wife is happier, my daughter is happier and that makes me happy.

So keep praying for me.

Thanks

Thanks for sharing with us and congrats on the two weeks. I think the prayer journal is a great idea.
Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on your days collected.

Two things I have found so important to my joy in recovery...

A happy wife equals a happy life.

When I aligned what brings me joy as my guide for each day, my days went on filled with joy.
What brings me joy...seeing the smile on my wife's face. ( I removed that smile from my past actions) My actions of my days are to try and keep the smile there and never repeat my old ways to remove it again.
