The Curse - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I am at day 7 and I can feel the tug of this curse even when there are no triggers now. I know it's because I've finally fully opened my eyes & accepted that I have an addiction. Admitting this has made Satan's pull very strong it seems. I really hate this, but I will get through it if I let Him guide me & keep posting here & getting to know you.
This is a fight I won't lose.

I cann't He can, I think I will let Him.
Don't tell God how big the disease is but tell the disease how BIG GOD IS.
The last one I saw on one of the posts.
Try AA also.

I found help in getting involved in a support group. Just to know that I was not alone in my recovery strengthened my every hour. I use AA, NA, Christian Recovery, Church, and any place I can share my experience, strength, and hope. Keep posting here on this thread, and this forum, even if youhave to do it often..........as you share we are all reinforced in our own recovery. The Newcomer is the most important person at any meeting, because it lets us know that it's still the same out there. Jails, institutions, and death.....toad

Welcome

This is a wonderful supportive Christian forum.

It has also been very important in my recovery, to join a 12 step
bible based recovery group through a local church.. These are things
that I have done to help myself..
