| Tears.
Tears are often a gift of God. Tears help to relieve, the tension that has built up inside you. Tears say how deeply you feel and how much you care Tears speak for you when you cannot find words You never have to be ashamed of honest tears. God see through your tears to the pain and sorrow of your heart. Your tears are precious to Him. And some day when earthly life is past, God will wipe away all tears from your eyes. All suffering and pain and sorrow will forever be done away.............................................. ............................... Personal note--im so very happy to have read this today.Im relieved, and feel that the aurther [who i dont have his/her name]understands me.For i have been question,by others, on my faith in God,when i have cried.I could not expalin to them, that i just needed to cry,but that i still have faith in God. Thanks for letting me share God Bless, one and all. |

For each lost lamb that returns to the fold, for every soul that repents and accepts the Lord...Angels shout out praises and I would think that there are tears of joy in the Lord's eyes and that of the heavenly hosts as well. Some tears tell of our joy and happiness because as you said... words just don't explain.

Thanks for sharing this Grasshopper. "There are two main causes of increased tear-production: emotional and physical. Both are radically different chemically from our ordinary eye lubricant. They flush-out minerals and hormones related to stress and depression. Tears can plummet stress levels." (excerpt from The Gift Of Tears/Wikipedia) Whether from sorrow, joy or a physical reason, our tears bring healing! Thank You Lord. |

Wow, I needed to read that too. I'd never been to the Wednesday night prayer service at my church, and tonight I went (not initially on purpose, but that's another story). There is an opportunity to come to the front at one point and pray with one of the Elders, and I usually feel weird about going, but tonight I finally chucked my shyness and went. I ended up crying my eyes out in the middle of the whole church. But I can't tell you how much better I feel now.

Amen. I used to always try to hide my tears & hold them back. Saw it as a sign of weakness. But these days they flow freely. Sometimes daily. My stress levels are a lot lower when they do.
