Help me Lord - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

It's 5:50 AM & I made it one night without a drink. I feel horrible, shakey and anxious. I just needed to share that with someone.

Afew days to a week.. it'll get better...if you dont take another...hit meetings and talk to someone. Do what's in front of you or just pace and look out the window if you have to.

As tough as it may seem..it does get better.
Stay in prayers and work through a moment at a time if need be. You can do it and with the Lord's help, you can do it easier.

Hi Juliee! I'm so happy for you!! You are on the road to "Happy Destiny" and you ARE NOT ALONE!!!! Trust in our father to help you through this and remember that you only need to do it 24 hours at a time; or even just a few hours at a time, ya know? Life DOES get better, I'm living proof of that one as most all of us are here!

Take good care of yourself, get plenty of rest and go to meetings. Trust God and He will get you through it! My sponsor tells me that God loves me too much to drop me; I only fall when I let go of Him. So, hang on tight and know that you don't have to go through this alone!

Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts!!
