I just came home from work and started to get sad and then I started to cry and now I feel like ending my life. It was my first day of work in 2 1/2 years. Nothing bad happened at work althoiugh it was really stresful. I don't know whats rong with me (crying).I nkow it is hard to understand how someone can get this messed up over nothing. I'm somehow messed up mentaly, and don't have much of a will to live. Please don't think i'm selfish. Last edited by emmer; 09-19-2006 at 07:05 PM. |

Joe Changes happen and you have made it through changes before. You now have Jesus at your side and you can gather His strength. Lord Jesus, bring your touch to Joe. Let him know you are with him at this moment. Guide him to reach out and call others as they become your tools that help him find comfort. We know and trust in your word. You will never leave us, You are always with us. Joe has gone through so much and come out on top, let him know that with Your strength, he can do so much more. Thank you Lord. Amen

Starting a new job after some time off can be stressful as u said mixed in with anxiety and a whole bunch of other normal and natural emotions. As long as u hold fast to ur faith God wont give you anymore than what u can handle. Im glad u came here to share.

emmer, I know it seems like how you describe your life...but it is not the truth. God is with you and He will help you... I have always wanted Him to take away my pain... ( and I have had alot of pain ) but instead He goes with Me and we get through it together. Eventually things will change for the better... remember the quote below by CS Lewis.. You were doing well and you can be better once more. This is a bump in the road..not to make light of your situation. No, not at all. That phrase 'fake it til you make it' is for you now. I will suggest that you take some deep breaths and go look in the mirror. I am not with you but imagine that I and others here on the forum are with you. Now when you look at Joe.... what do you see? Somebody made in God's image is what you will see. and you can't see but know that we are here with you too... If we go through the motions in faith - the feeling can follow. I hope you will get some better or different medical help. Do you have a local church? This would be one of those times when having a fellowship of believers close by would be good. Please keep in touch here...Many here love and care for you! cmc I am praying... pray with me: "Lord, I release this anxiety and depression into Your hands, and I recieve the peace from Your Holy Spirit. Amen |

Hang in there Emmer, I once felt like that after starting a new Job. I actually felt really depressed for no reason at all and end up leaving the job after 2 days. The strange thing was that the new job gave me more opportunity than my old one. I just dont take to change very well at all, and being alone at that time without Jesus in my life wasn't helpful either. I will pray for your comfort and clarity of thought.

| Emmer Brother, fervent prayers being said for you... A new job is very high on the stress factor level. Keep coming here and posting. You may have to make baby steps to get back into the swing of things. But, it is possible, you can make it through this. Remember, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Our Lord doesn't make any junk, but then again he is the only one who is perfect. Don't be so hard on yourself. Celebrate the day and the progress you have made... Hang loose, Doc.

Emmer, God loves you, and so do we.. Please don't ever forget that. You are a very important person. I think it's awesome that you got a job. It's just tough in the beginning, especially when we have been using. That makes it a bit harder, but you know what, you will get through this. You have God to help you get through the start of this job, and you have us too.  Before you know it, the job will be just like a normal part of your life, and you'll realize that it wasn't so difficult. Change is hard though.. But you can do this, emmer, I know you can.. Push forward. I love what cmc said, it's so true. Ya know, for so long I asked God to take everything that seemed uncomfortable, or I didn't like, or seemed hard for me, but what I really needed to do was to just ask God to be with me, as I went through these things, because I know that he has a plan for me, and that he loves me, and he will take care of me, and that no matter the outcome, it is what is meant to be, and it is right, as long as I depend in him.. and he loves you the same emmer, and is there with you as you go through your day,, talk to him when things get tough, it helps alot.. It really does. I still have anxiety over things, but I can tell you that it really does get easier with God. Really give it all to God emmer, you will see your life change. You'll get through this dear emmer, we are with you, and so is God.. Love, Becky
