| What eternity will be like!!!
Eternity in Heaven, what do you think it will be like? We could read the bible and find many of the answers. Many songs have been written that give opinions that may be true or not so true. Share your own thoughts and lets see what answer we find. I am sure that the best answers we find are only the tip of the iceburg as Heaven is beyond our understanding in it's totality.

Have you seen the movie "What Dreams May Come"? The part in Heaven in there, is how I see it. Bright, Colorful and Peaceful, an where you are finally reunited with those you've lost.

When I think of Heaven, I think of Mountains, and streams, and lakes, and woods. I think of all things very peacful, and beautiful.. Rainbows, and waterfalls... I also think of singing and praise. I think of smiles, and warmth.. No fear, and nothing bad.. No illness!! No hurts!! Won't it be wonderful!!! ![]() Prayers, Becky

At the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I'd like to share this with ya'll. My granfather passed away when I was 12. I was his favorite grandkid although I didn't know that at the time. Anyway, shorly after his death I dreamed we were back in the funeral hom. People went off to do things so it was just him and me in there. He sits up and tells me he has something he wants to show me. He leads me down this corridor into what I believe was heaven (or all that my young mind could think aws possible) We were in a meadow with the prettiest flowers. The water was the brightest blue you could imagine and the meadows were the greenest green I had ever seen. There were beautiful flowers as rar they eye could see. I truly believe that I was allowed either a glimpse into heaven or at least one that my young mind could process. We stayed in this meadow for a while and then he told me we had to get back because people were coming back. So, next thing you know we are back in the room we started off from and he is back in the casket. Hugs, Kellye

I don't think you sound like a lunatic at all, Kellye. The dream seems to be a very comforting one- and it seems as if it was a gift from God meant to bring you a sense of peace during a time of grief and loss. Funny you should share this because I had been thinking about sharing my grandfather's last words in this thread just the other day and had not got around to it. When I was about 7, my grandfather died. Here's the story. He had been ill for some time and was sitting in another room by himself and suddenly called out "Sarah!* It's wonderful!!" and by the time grandma and my aunt got to his side he had passed!!!! (*name changed) I then had a similar experience as you did. On the way home from the funeral I had a vision of him. I was sitting in the back seat of the car and looking out through the windshield. I saw my grandfather from the shoulders up, rise above the horizon. I had no religious training at that time to put an image of that into my brain... and of course I told my family what I 'saw' and they did not believe me. I know that I saw it. Was it a vision? My imagination? It does not matter... it was a gift of reassurance , because my grandfather truly was saved and is in heaven now. I know that now, and when I met the Lord just 4 years after, I understood the truth. Somehow I always knew he had prayed for me to know the Lord. Years after that in a conversation with my mother, I learned of some marital problems my parents were having around the time of my birth. She told me grandpa was very worried about me being born 'into all the trouble'. I then realized he must have prayed alot, especially for me!!! I am the only child in the family to have a born again experience! To this day I feel so thankful that God gave me a praying grandfather and also a 'confirmation' as when I was so young that he was in heaven! Thanks for sharing your story and your dream with us..... it seems that the Lord comforted you much in the same way he did me. Amazing how He cares for His children, whether we are grown or still very young!
