I am sorry you experienced this in chat, it is normally a wonderfully supportive place in my experience. For me it was a HUGE part of my early recovery and the people there became like a caring family online.

I do hope you give it another go, and that I may see you in there sometime.

I'm also sorry you experienced this. Chat is very supportive for many people. One bad apple doesn't define SR. I know a lot of people who devote many hours lending support to a person in need. I see you are new to SR....as Matty said ,this can be worked out. There are avenues you can take if someone is confrontational with you.

I hope you will give Chat another chance....I look forward to meeting you.
