Molie~~~~~ It's not that bad. And I will have TONS of hate mail for stating that. I LOVED being pregnant. I did. I felt great and was told I had a glow! I have had two children, both vaginally. Once you get the epidural, you are smooth sailing! Don't try to be brave and not get one. And, whatever you do, DON'T SCREAM, as Tom Cruise would advise. You'll be FINE sweetie. Just embrace it!! We love you~~~~~ xoxoxoxox Ang |

I'M PREGNANT! I'M PREGNANT! I'M PREGNANT! OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD! My mum was hysterical with joy and happiness, my dad was... well, kind of stoical really, he's not an emotional type. Oh please God don't let anything go wrong now. I'm scared now. This is what we have been waiting for forever for. I've always had a phobia about childbirth but I'd do anything to have our baby safe and sound. I don't know, what to eat and drink? what to do now? I never knew that this could happen for us so I'm not educated with regard to pregnancy. I'm scared. I don't know what to do next. This is AMAZING. I can't believe it. I just can't believe that this is real. It feels like a dream.

Spacegirl - that is totally awesome news! Congratulations!! When it gets closer to "the date" we'll talk about labor and delivery -- both of mine were less than two hours. One of them was exactly one push. I laughed at your pregnancy test(s) story -- I did EXACTLY the same thing. I bought a Walgreens 2-pack, did one, didn't believe it, did another one, wanted to believe it but didn't dare; bought a famous brand single pack and did a third before I believed it. To this day, whenever we drive by that Walgreen's I say, to no one in particular, "That's where I bought the pregancy tests before you were born ..." And I still have the tests in my memory box. My first symptom was sore boobs, but I poked at them so much to see if they were sore that I didn't know if they were sore because I was pregnant or because I kept poking at them. Seriously, though, if I have one bit of advice for you, it would be to enjoy your pregancy while you're pregnant. Enjoy every minute, every gas bubble, every bump and kick and hiccup. Get lots of prenatal care, take your vitamins, and have fun being pregnant. Oh, and when you're delivering, scream your little heart out for Katie. Gobi |
