Oooh I hope you are serious about this Purdy! Get your little fluffy ginger-bottom up a tree! Just take your mobile so you can call the fire-brigade if necessary! Last time I climbed a tree was to rescue a cat who was stuck! (it wasn't Purdy lol) and I got stuck myself and we both had to be rescued! Even at the time it was quite funny tho. The fire-brigade gave me a cloth bag to put the cat in and she was lowered to the ground first then they rescued me second! Pfft! lol That sounds like great fun Purdy! I reckon that would be better than drinking a bottle of wine! (my poison) Oh I hope you do it! Don't care that you're a grown-up, just do it! Go for it Purdster! You are so lucky to have tree's

Oooh I dunno! The kind of heroism of a man who rescues little puppies and kittens and babies and old people from house-fires... I'd just think a guy like that was hot no matter what he looked like! lol Oddly enough tho, I've never met a handsome fireman either! I'll just settle with my lovely Pharmacist I guess!

Climb a tree, jump in a puddle, play on a rope swing - all is good!! I remember when D first realised what he'd let himself in for with me. I'd borrowed a bike off a friend and needed to return it - we were also late!! At first D refused to sit croggi on the back, he ran alongside - but eventually he gave in! Now see, when I was a kid me and my two friends had one bike between us, so croggi was the normal way to get from a to b and it's something you never forget!! As we flew down the hill, on and off the pavement, dodging stuff with an old timers confidence D's yelps of impending death turned into the giggles, which turned into a full belly laugh!! I want a tandem bike..... I promise not to get matching jackets and be sensible, but I want a tandem bike... |

I'd never visited Cafe Central before today...Midas connected me here with his composition, "Night in Gael"...I'm a Newcomer...still contemplating involvement in the second half of that forum name... but in responding I see this link about climbing trees and HAVE to respond, I'm considering this as a SIGN Purrdy...I LOVE to write non-fiction and last month submitted for publication "Into the Trees." About perspective shift in tree climbing! I've never submitted for publication. Maybe...this could mark a shift outside the confines of my own drug-obsessed head, and into the start of a new way of living. I'm thinking of making a committment, that if I'm given opportunity to pursue a writing career, therein I might have solid reason to turn away from the drugs and into the start of a new life...People have made such commitments to God before, more dramatic than this...
