lol I LOVE it! Purdy I've seen your pic and you most certainly are not fat hon!  I just love the one where the cat is helping to train the police-dogs. I got emailed it a few years back with the caption 'a cat with balls the size of watermelons' *giggles like a schoolchild! Sorry! a bit rude but it made me laugh! Excellent Indie!

I stole a chick from work once. Well I tried to. I regret to this day that I failed. I was working in a microbiology lab and they brought a crate of chicks in. My then bf was a med-student and they used to do (harmless) experiments on animal-behaviour so I just assumed it was something innocent. I just said. 'Oh how precious! What shall I do with them? and my boss said 'slit their throats and bleed them into the universals, we need the blood for the rubella tests'. I just burst into tears and ran out of the lab crying and when I'd had a cigarette and calmed down a bit I decided that all I could do was save one of them and then kick up a fuss till they (the PHLS) would agree to use the other (slightly more expensive) test for Rubella. My reasoning was that I can't change anything from the outside so I'll stay in the job but I'll create a stink till they change this procedure. God knows how I didn't get fired bcz I threw a cup of (lukewarm) coffee in the face of my boss and was almost hysterical with anger Pfft I got caught anyway. I said to my boss 'so how many are there?' and he said 'about 20' then I knew that he didn't know exactly how many there were so he wouldn't notice if I took one. I intended to hide it in my locker until dinner-break then take it home and give it to my then boyfriends parents (as they had a pet duck that lived in their garden so I thought 'well they've got a duck how much trouble is it if they have a chicken too?' Sadly I got caught taking it out of my lab-coat pocket and trying to put it in my locker. Broke my bloody heart but after that they decided to test for Rubella with a slightly more expensive test that didn't involve using RBC. Oh I love animals even more than people I'm ashamed to say!
