Well...since they are down to the final 12, I think they will only vote off one this go around. I agree with your picks. One of the two may be going home this week. However, I think their performance will have a lot to do with the outcome of the voting. Kevin just doesn't come across as Idol to me. I kinda like Melissa though, but I don't think she has a strong enough fan base to keep her on. You never know though...

Pickler wasnt a mink. Loved Elliot and Taylor. The girls just didnt stand out tonight.

What happened last night? Can y'all believe my 74 year old mom watched it w/ me last night? She's in town visiting. Someone would come up, and I'd say "watch how good this person is"...then they'd miss a note (or five...)

Kevin and Bucky are gone. Ace - what the heck happened? Chris and Taylor ROCKED. Taylor is really growing on me more and more. He's picking perfect songs for himself.

I actually thought Paris was good, compared to the other girls. Those that sang near the end of the show really picked up the slack.

So...the question lies....is Pickler faking or real? She seemed a little over the top last night. Like what she was saying "these aren't REAL tarantulas"....WELL, FREAKIN', DUH!! She's beginning to make me wonder if it's all an act.

Just my two cents.... I don't mean any harm. You don't see ME up there singing!!

I thought Paris went over the line with her singing after the song. But maybe she couldnt help but let it out.

I think the guys got it this year the girls just dont have that musical flare except maybe Paris. You know raw talent.
Mellisa is gone like I said. I just dont think she could afford to mess up the lyrics.

Boring....yawn. Sorry, but I get bored with the song choices. I loved Chris. Yep he was my favorite from the get go. He is the only one who has rocked the house down.

I kept waiting for them to make the comparison to Kelly Clarkson with Katherine. I thought that from the beginning.

I like Taylor Hicks, especially when he plays his harmonica. He is unique from the others.

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.

When she opens her mouth...she best be singing. You never know what may come out of her mouth otherwise. She just seems soooo...simple. I think she is adorable, but has lived a very simple life. I'm afraid she will get educated a bit to fast for her benefit.

The others....ehhh? I think they all can sing. For me, it boils down to the song choices and whether they get the place rockin'. Ballads have their time and place, but in this point in the competition, they need to get the crowd on their feet and movin' to make a lasting impression. The song choices are ho...hum. Am I starting to sound like Simon?

I like Melissa's smokey voice, but I think she may be going home. Unless one of the other gals that I can't remember their yaaaaawn performance goes first. It will be interesting to see if a guy or a gal goes.

30 minutes until showtime.

I dont follow it BUT we do get it on some digital channels and the other day the contestants went throught their paces....THAT bloody SIMON COWEL or whatever his mane is more like simon scowl...waht a dick head

LOL Without Simon the show would not be a hit. He makes huge dollars!! They all do. But he is a D H. We love the english you know. They teach us how to speak properly.
I knew Mellisa was gone but dont know how good I'll be at predicting next week.

Hmmm.... I think Kevin is out. Bucky's not far behind him. I think Chris and Taylor (if he keeps going at the rate he's going) will make it far. Mandisa, too, and Paris is just too cute!

So did y'all decide - is Kellie for real, or is it all just an act? I want to just love her to death b/c she wins everyone over, but her comments last week were just TOO out there.
