uh, oh guys. The shows on, but I haven't been paying attention enough to really break it down. I'll try to do a quick run down. Elliot starts off the night. He sounds alright. He sings a George Benson song, On Broadway. I'm just not into his style of music. Elliot has sung both of his songs as I'm typing this. I think they both sounded the same and I can't remember what the second one was. He sounded good, but never really has much variation in his sound, or style. On Paris's first song, she was very cute and adorable. She sang Kiss by Prince. I thought she sounded good. However it wasn't outstanding. She thanked, and thanked. Some how I happened to miss Paris's second performance. I'm sure there were many thank you's to follow. On the recap I caught that she sang Without You Baby. She is a good singer. It is just that Minnie Mouse thing is distracting. Her age is going to get in the way of her winning this competition. In a few years, she really will be a force to reckon with. Chris sang Renegade. Love him, love him and so do the judges. Chris's second song is good, probably not my favorite song choice. He sounded kinda horse. I still love the way he sings. Judges agree, it wasn't his best song and his voice was going a bit. Katherine kinda slipped up tonight. It wasn't her best performance. She sang Against All Odds. Maybe the key was off. She looked absolutely beautiful though. Katherine is up for her second song. Your right Max, she is sitting on the floor and sings from her knees. She sounds good, looks good. Taylor chooses a strange song tonight. It was one of those 80's song I'm still trying to forget, but they always insist on playing on the radio, Play That Funky Music White Boy. Taylor was really into it and was fun to watch. He was all Taylor tonight. He ends up on the floor in a gator like move. Ryan joins him. Then it dons on me, who he reminds me of. He reminds me of a cross between Jay Leno and George Clooney. Taylor's second song is Something by the Beatles. He sounds great. He really is very talented. The judges were very happy with his performance. Simon told him he was a very good singer. Not the best song choices this week, with exception to the Beatles song. That was the best song of the night. My pick is between Elliot and Paris to go home. I'll guess....Elliot. |

Max! Butchered Styx? No way. He just put his own spin and flair on the song. I thought he was great. Incidentally, that song was from '79, the year Chris was born. I saw Styx live in concert in Seattle in '79. It was great. OMG! Where you there? Seattle Center Coliseum?

Mornin', y'all! Wow- good rundown of the performances. I thought Chris did great, Max, no? Was the Styx song the 1st or 2nd one? The first one was INSANELY good. (My brain, though now sober, still has trouble remembering...) I thought Kat did really well w/ her 2nd song. What's up w/ Taylor rolling around on the floor? He's one of my favorites (not to win - I just plain like the guy), but I'm waiting for his pants to split...

I love it that they sang two songs! All the more to judge! I graded both songs on a 10 scale: Then added and divided.... (gee I'm putting alot into this.... Chris=18.5 Taylor=15.8 Katherine=15.5 Elliot=15 Paris=14.4 So, my best guess is it's eother Paris or Elliott tonight. (Hope it's Paris, that childlike voice of hers is killing me.......) ta ta

I'm ready to see Paris go. I know Kat's first song was stinky but I think she made up for it on her second. I gave my votes to Kat and Taylor. Elliott rocks, I'm buying his CD when it comes out. Chris is already a star. I want to see Taylor in concert he's a nut, I love it.

Chris Rocks!!!! I agree with Mooselips on the scoring. I am ready to see Paris go as well. She sounds like a bird when she tallks and then she almost growls when she tries to sing too deep. I did love Kat's 2nd song though! |

2dayz your cracking me up. No I saw it at the Portland Coliseum. Coliseum doesnt look spelled right but I looked it up. Yes the concert was great. They spotlighted the Hangmans noose as it fell from the ceiling it was cool. What was the lead guitarist about 16 then? But yes I saw it in 1979 so must have been right after you saw it, or before. Still think Chris butchered it. But Ive only listened to the song one thousand four hundred thirty six times so maybe I'm biased. Katherine has got to go tonight. Wifelet voted for Elly and Taylor. The pressure seems to be taking its toll. I could see it on Chris's face. Taylor just is the Idol right now. He's the ****.... Max

Taylor rocks! When he sings I have to smile and get up and dance. He opens up ,and shares pure irresistable joy along with a great voice. He did an awesome job with the Beatles song. I'm with you Max, he's the idol right now

Taylor really did rock it out last night! Kat's second song was great, but man, why would she choose "Against the Odds"??? That was her worst performance ever IMO. Chris was good as usual. Paris' voice is great, but she really is just gauged for certain songs isn't she?? She is tooooo much of an alto for some of her attempts. Defnitely the "old school" standards genre suits her. I think it will either be Elliot or Paris tonight.

Max, to be perfectly honest, I had to look it up too. I must say, that concert was probably the one and only concert I've ever been to perfectly sober. I went on a first date with the guy who worked in camera's and I in the automotive department, at K-mart. The guy was not into partying at all, but I was. The only thing I could think of was I wanted to be with my friends who had partied the entire way there and then some. Even though I was sober, I don't remember the noose dropping down from the ceiling. That is par for the course. I'm still trying to figure out if I saw Boston live, or just dreamt it. The consensus just in after asking around: I was actually there. I must have had a fabulous time. |

adieu princess paris..............i was impressed with her composure last night. if it had been me (at 17) i'd a been weepin' like a baby !!! She is astounding even with that helium-filled speaking voice. I used to think Chris would win this competition hands down. Now, I think my favorite has a chance. Go Taylor, Go Taylor, Go, Go. Go Taylor !!!!

Alright-- I loved Paris, but think it happened like it was supposed to! The competition is so tight right now. I like all of them that are left.

I like Taylor too! I think he has such enthusiasum, and is having fun. I don't think he has much of a chance though, but, if people vote for him, stranger things have happened. Has Taylor ever been in the bottom? I don't remember. I think Chris thinks he's a shoe-in. And Gosh, he is GOOD. But, Taylor has Charisma going for him. I know my mother, who is 87 loves him. (If that means anything......

Nice call Mega, Daddys girl I love you to. Thanks for CEPTING me the way I am lol. 2dayz I remember Van Halen my buddy got so wasted he spent the entire concert passed out in front of his car. What a waste. The other thing was the bathrooms were broken. So everyone was Uh Hum in a garbage can. I looked up while Uh Hum and there was a guy I graduated with. I said oh hi David.. LOL. It was loud, loud, loud, I never saw Boston but my very first concert was Steve Miller is was so great with lazers and he was the first to really use the sinthisizer. Didn't feel like looking that one up. Oh I'm tickling myself.. But I parked out front, what a great spot and when I came out my car was towed. Yes there was a sign said something like park here and you get towed. Ah to be 17 again. Glad Paris is gone. Thank you. Surprised Kat made it. Shes gone next week. She must have some fans. Not me. Taylor all the way right now. Max
