Lightbulb Check this serpent out.

Has anyone heard of Champ? I just saw him on Good Morning America.

He is pretty cool. I want to go scuba diving and see him.

LOL. A long-lost relative of Ole Nessy. It's possible. Lake Champlain is a huge freshwater lake--6th largest in the States. However, considering the following facts, it's possible, but not plausible.
Quote:
Surface area [m2]--1,130,000,000
Volume [m3]--25,802,074,000
Maximum depth [m]--123
In maritime terms, Lake Champ is relatively shallow for being so large. It's barely 400 ft deep. Unweighted and unaided, an ordinary swimmer could float to the bottom in about 80 seconds.

Maybe "Champy" is a giant sea horse like this one;

re: Nessie & a smile enclosed

I seen something ( The Discovery channel; maybe?) about 6 months ago... These guys rigged up a MECHANICAL lochness, then took ppl out on their "cruise"...tourists.
The mechanical thing moved & liiked very realistic! They had it pop up (from a visible distance) so that all of the tourists could get a photo...THEY ALL THOUGHT IT WAS REAL. we; the viewer, was able to see all of the behind the scenes stuff...This has NOTHING to do w/ "Nessie"...but check it out. Go to the 3rd one; the GRAND FINALE; & turn up the volume. It will give you all a much needed smile...I think. Enjoy.

PHINNY!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I love weird stuff like that! I remember now about hearing about this years ago. They had it on Good Morning America today, and had a bunch of people
talking about it.

I would love to go scuba diving in that lake, I wonder why they haven't had anyone go down there yet?

With the random mood I'm in today, I may just go jump on a plane and go! lol

Think that would take my urge to use away? lol

Ever see a sturgeon? Some of those are so danged ugly, you would swear they are prehistoric. Your video clip indicates Champ may be a kind of sturgeon... maybe.

Very interesting in any case... and you are NOT stupid!! I prefer to think of it as .... open-minded.

LOL, Yea I've been told that before. My open mind. It's one of a kind sometimes. Some people call me gullible others call it trusting.
Thank you, I was in a weird mood yesterday.

I used to work at McCormicks, I've never seen sturgeon look like that! lol,
but they were always dead by the time we got to see them.

I DO think part of me hopes it is a creature that no one has seen. How cool
would that be.

They are offering 50,000 for anyone that catches him! Does anyone want to go with me to try and find him? 25,000 each in our pocket if we find him!

We could use "Midas'" sign to ask the other sea creatures if they've seen him.
lol, cute sign Midas, Thank You! lol

I believe you, but I would NOT go scuba diving to see it. I took scuba lessons in the Pool in Hawaii and just about freaked out. I don't know, just does not seem natural to me. Now, snorkeling, I LOVE.

I scuba dive quite a lot but I think I would really freak out if I saw that thing.

Done, I like to think I am open minded too. It would be cool but that 'thing' is really big, and probably a bit slimey!!! Wouldn't want it brushing past my legs.....

I'm booking our flights now!! I love haunted scary, crazy places too!!

Soo fun. The rest of you, , lol~ Just kidding. We will take pictures for you!!

If I had tons of money, I would soooo really do that! You know they even make shark cages where you can go down there without being eaten up.
I would buy one of those. Or two of those.

And they say he has a head like a horse. So I don't think he could eat us anyway. Horses mouth's aren't that big.. And horses eat hay, not people. Serpents probably eat seaweed, Not me and AuraDavid.

Ohh,, to dream. I would so love to go find this creature..........

That would be amazing!!

My bag is packed. I'm waiting for my ticket in the mail. I will drive the boat. Love haunted stuff. I lived in Gold Bar, Washington where the Yette lives. They filmed Harry and the Hendersons by my house. He could live there. The wilderness is huge.
As far as the Champ goes...he looks like something from the eel family.
Anything is possible.
