I love interacting closely with animals. My dog Jessy LOVES having her bottom smacked - in fun and it makes her go all silly while we play chase. Jack likes to jump into my arms (thank god Jess doesn't she weighs 30 kilo!!). I used to work horses loose from the ground and that often felt like a dance, especially the close work where I would teach them to move away from my hands, touching their quarters to ask them to move their back end or their chest to ask for reverse. BUT I've never felt the need to where a frilly frock and join a class!!! What next? Synchronised swimming??? |

Now why on earth would you think to go turn off your fridge cause your cat wasn't dancing with you. omg, hysterical!!!! I don't even know what to think about some of these posts of theirs. I love my animals more than life, and I've even taken a yoga class with my dog. But, I'd never buy different fridges in order to get my cat to dance with me........lmao, where on earth did you find this site!!!!!

>>This from the site...
What can I expect from a cat dancing class? Classes usually start with stretching and warm-up exercises that have a strong emphasis on breath and alignment. After this they'll move on to pre-dance energy aligning exercises (see FAQs) like remote stroking, mirroring and visualization. These are followed by dances where participants, using their stuffed cats, are shown the various techniques of holding cats while dancing as a first stage to dancing independently with the real thing. This will include shoulder dancing, chukra aligning dance, remote stroking dance, prone dancing, leg rubbing moves, and the basic cat step. Even though you'll be going home and practicing these techniques with your cat alone, dance studios usually encourage some group choreography during instruction as a way of building a group energy and consciousness that helps students feel a valuable part of a universal movement. And, while group work is the only practical way of handling large numbers of people wanting to dance with their cats, you should nevertheless expect your dance tutor to allow time for individual tuition especially with the energy aligning exercises. Also, you should make sure you let your tutor knows the size of your dance space at home, so that the later, more advanced choreographed works you will be taught to develop, will be tailored to your space requirements
take the class!!!!! that's hilarious! |

My cat hates me now. He says dancing sucks. I think I will buy and replace my fridge tonight. Do you think what would work? Maybe I'll be pro-active and replace my microwave and dishwasher also. You know just in case. One can never be too careful when cat dancing.

Shall I just get rid of them all? Or maybe paint them pink. Pink solves everything!
