Did anyone see this recently...and what did you think. I did not think I'd respond to it in the way that I did...I think it's probably one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. Love to hear your thoughts! Cathy31 x |

I saw it and was very disapointed with it.The acting was exceptional ,the storyline ok but the movie was so hyped up I thought it would get under my skin like Million Dollar Baby or 21 Grams but it didn't.There was such a commotion about the sexual content and "going there" you will see more and experience more emotion with an episode of my beloved Six Feet Under.

I loved it. Very powerful. And I saw it before it was hyped so I went in with pretty low expectations. I am glad a movie like this has been made and it enjoying success. It's about time, in my opinion, that gay relationships become more mainstream.

I write back and forth with Joe Williams he does the movie reviews for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. He's urged me to go see this film I started a thread in the St. Louis paper and I've got all positive reviews

I saw it last week. I thought it was a wonderful film, but not "the best movie I've ever seen." I wish I had seen it before all the hype. I, too, am glad a movie like this could make it to mainstream. Many years ago, the only people I spent any time with were gay men, so the sexual content didn't really phase me. I am quite used to men hugging, kissing, and showing affection for each other. I did get a little bit miffed by the young people snickering at the initial sex scene. Grow up, people! If you can't handle it, don't go see it!!!!!
